Drake Head Start

We are 1 of the 5 daycares, in Des Moines, that are partnered with Drake Head Start.

Head Start is a program designed to assess and evaluate the needs of children, in addition to providing monitoring, coaching, on going education, CDA credential for staff, and physical resources.

Little Sprouts is now on the CACFP Iowa Child and Adult Care Food Program

CACFP is a food program that complies with USDA standards. It is part of the Iowa department of Education. CACFP ensures the provision of Nutritious foods that contribute to the wellness, healthy growth and development of young children. Through CACFP more than 3.3 million children and 120,000 adults receive nutritious meals and snacks each day as a part of the day care they receive.
